Residential Design - One Thousand Museum, Miami
In this project, the clients wanted a contemporary and minimalist design, while also incorporating some warmth. With the apartments magnificent view of the Miami Harbor, the concept called for doing away with excess clutter.
The final design encompasses a carefully curated selection of low furniture, which gives both comfort and enough sittings for a large gathering of people without obstructing the view. The result is an airy, homey, and timeless environment. The space flows and evolves openly toward the dining room and kitchen, that are designed in laid-back sophistication and simplicity, with pops of color and elements of suprise to help take off the minimalist chill. In the bedrooms, very soft hues are used in the initial two rooms, that culminate in an explosion of color as you go through to the last of the two bedrooms.
